VENOM STEELE RESTRAINT CUFFS
Care & Maintenance Guide
01. MATERIAL NOTES
Your cuffs are constructed from industrial-grade rubber. All edges are finished and bonded using flexible glue. Hardware is stainless or corrosion-resistant metal, fastened with screws that can be serviced or locked in permanently.
02. CLEANING & HYGIENE
Routine Cleaning:
Use mild soap and water only.
Do not submerge; water exposure around the glued edges will degrade the bond over time.
Pat dry thoroughly with a soft towel and allow to air dry fully.
For deeper disinfecting, isopropyl alcohol (70% or higher) may be used lightly, but do not scrub aggressively with microfiber — it will dull the rubber’s finish.
After Heavy Use:
Clean immediately if exposed to lubricants, bodily fluids, or moisture.
Perform a full disassembly if needed. This prevents mold growth or corrosion in hidden areas.
Rinse all components individually. Dry completely before reassembly.
Avoid:
Acetone, bleach, or harsh solvents
Soaking in water or alcohol
Abrasive scrub pads
High-heat drying
03. STORAGE GUIDELINES
Store coiled and unbuckled in the original storage container.
Store with a light coating of silicone oil.
Keep out of direct sunlight and away from excessive heat or cold.
Do not fold the cuffs. Long-term compression or bending will leave permanent indentations or surface warps.
04. MAINTENANCE & LONGEVITY
Hardware Checks:
Inspect screws before and after each use.
You may lock screws permanently with Loctite or glue if you do not intend to disassemble for deep cleaning.
Rubber Conditioning:
Cuffs are safe to treat with silicone oil for shine and preservation.
Regular conditioning will maintain surface flexibility and extend the lifespan of the rubber.
Damage Prevention:
Do not stack heavy items on top of the cuffs.
Avoid contact with sharp or abrasive objects — permanent marks are likely.
Under extreme stress, hardware or rubber may fail.
05. SAFETY & COMFORT USE
Cuff tightness and wear time should always be guided by the comfort, circulation, and consent of the wearer.
Over-tightening can result in nerve or circulation issues — check skin and response regularly during extended use.
Cuffs will soften slightly over time, becoming more flexible but retaining their form.
06. NOTES ON DEEP CLEANING
For sessions involving significant fluid exposure or long wear periods, deep cleaning is strongly recommended:
Disassemble completely
Rinse and clean all parts
Dry thoroughly
Reassemble with care
